' Aspiring for Excellence - Believing We Can Be The Best '
A warm welcome from Rachel Cumberlidge, the Head teacher, to our homepage. Huncote Primary School is a warm and welcoming school at the heart of the village community. We have around 160 pupils in six classes. We were awarded a "Good" school grading overall in the Ofsted inspection of April 2010 when  all aspects were judged as good with behaviour and attendance being outstanding.

The school inside is modern, attractive and well-maintained.  The classrooms are well-equipped and the grounds of the school are very attractive, containing a trim trail, garden area, amphitheatre and quiet shelter. The playing field is large enough to accommodate a football pitch and a running track in the summer. There are a wide variety of extra-curricular activities available to pupils of all ages and the school takes part in a range of inter-school sports competitions throughout the year.  We are proud of the care, guidance and support we provide for all our pupils and particularly those with Special Educational Needs and are an inclusive and caring school.

Huncote Community Primary School admits pupils between the ages of four and eleven. Children younger than this usually attend our Community Association Playgroup, which takes place in our community centre attached to the school. You may want to browse this website further as a useful insight into life at Huncote Primary School. Other useful documents like the latest Ofsted report (April 2010) can be found attached and many school policies are in the policy section of the website.

We very much welcome visits from the parents of prospective pupils. You will always receive a warm welcome and we encourage you to make an appointment  for a tour of the school.
Please contact the school office to arrange a visit.
